25 January 2008: Funkwerk consolidates market position in information systems

Funkwerk AG continues to consolidate its position as the leading supplier of information systems for transport companies in Europe. With the takeover of the well-established public address system specialist, Bouyer, Funkwerk improved access to the French market and to new customer groups in retail, industry and the public sector. The acquisition of Bouyer will provide Funkwerk with additional sales potential of some 8 mill. Euro per year. The purchase price has not been disclosed.

08 May 2008: Funkwerk gains in sales and creates new business segment

In the first quarter of 2008, Funkwerk AG made efforts to push ahead with its strategic repositioning to see a further gain in revenues. Sales as at the end of March rose by 8.3 per cent on the previous year to 61.6 mill. Euro (2007: 56.9 mill. Euro). Despite the additional burdens from the ongoing restructuring of its Enterprise Communication segment and the setup of new strategic growth fields, Funkwerk again managed to break even at 0.1 mill. Euro, similar to the result (EBIT) in the previous year (0.2 mill. Euro).

27 March 2008:Funkwerk was growing in financial year 2007

Funkwerk AG could close a year of transition 2007 in spite of partly difficult markets with a good growth. The fourth quarter of the year contributed with sales in the amount of 97 mill € and an operating profit (EBIT) of more than 10 mill.€ significantly. For the full year Funkwerk increased sales by more than 20 percent to 290.6 mill € (2006:241.8 mill €). Profitability measured by the EBIT-figure improved by more than 42 percent to 14.4 mill € (2006: 10.1 mill €).
