2001: Funkwerk receives the biggest order of the company history with a volume of more than 50 mil euros for the delivery of Dual Mode GSM-R Terminals for the “Deutsche Bahn”. At the same time Funkwerk profits from an inquiry boom of hands free devices. In May a new automated product line for the business starts in Dabendorf.

10 May 2001: Good news for the stockholder:
As one of the only a few companies on the “New Market” Funkwerk AG already pays a dividend for its first year business. On the 28th May, 2001 the course of the Funkwerk stock reaches 42€.

On 1 October 2001 the segment “Mobile Security Communication” MSC was taken over from Tenovis GmbH & Co. KG in Salzgitter and integrated into Funktel GmbH, the newly founded subsidiary of Funkwerk AG, for the Enterprise Communication segment.

The End of the year 2001: In spite of the generally difficult position and the varied world political vibration Funkwerk grows in the business year 2001 stronger than planned with the turnover about 77% to 67.4 mil euros and in the result by about 69% to 6.6 mil euros. At the end of the year Funkwerk is an employer for more than 600 employees
