FwD present a variety of innovations at the CeBIT 2006 in Hannover. On the world’s largest trade fair of digital IT and telecommunications solutions FwD focuses on four trendsetting themes: Bluetooth, navigation, UMTS and fleet control. On stand B37, hall 11 FwD as the specialist of mobile communication shows their clever innovations for the automotive sector. Next to these new products FwD showcases concepts and visions dealing with future topics in car communication.
With the right navigation system you won´t get lost
Hands-Free speaking and navigation – two concepts which recently fit together. FwD hows a demonstrative simple way to enlarge an FwD hands-free speaking system into a navigation system without any effort. Either through the cable-free way via Bluetooth or through an integrated handsfree speaking system. Surplus it supports various mobile phone as well as smartphones. A circumstantially and cost-intensive way of installation is belonging to the past now.
Another FwD-highlight at the CeBIT 2006 is a comfortable navigation – the so-called NaviCom. You can picture this innovation as being a fully-fledges navigation system which allows to speak hands-free via Bluetooth SIM Access. On top the easy handling per high-quality voice control and a clear arranged touchscreen will convince you.
Bluetooth and multimedia inside the car
To combine Bluetooth and multimedia FwD developed a new concept. It´s being introduced to the public at the CeBIT 2006 as well. This inventive solution transfers soundfiles via Bluetooth from the MP3 into the hands-free speaking system of the car. The sensed music is in HIFI-quality and able to be played through the cars` soundsystem. According to the topic Bluetooth FwD exhibits the winners of Germany´s most favourite telecommunications magazine “connect”. On the fast lane with UMTS
UMTS is growing in popularity especially in Germany. Even using it inside the car gets more and more important if a secure and stable connection is granted. FwD showcases a brand-new concept – the first UMTS-power amplifier for cars worldwide. In connection with the compenser MC 3G it enables a failure-free communication. This compenser balances power losses inside the car and therefore minimises annoying connection interruptions.
Optimise your fleet in an easy way
The result is showcased at the CeBIT 2006. Next to features like position finding, tracking and reporting the FleetBox pro will convince the public with one significant telematics feature: the worldwide unique conjunction with mobile communication via Bluetooth SIM Access. This innovate product combines two benefits, a overview of the entire vehicle fleet with modern hands-free speaking. The generated data is evaluated easily via world wide web.
