Highly qualified and committed employees are a decisive success factor for the Funkwerk technology development company. This is reflected in the exceptionally high qualifications of its staff: 43% of all Funkwerk employees have a university degree, while 45% have completed vocational training.

Furthermore, Funkwerk runs an in-house training programme and a programme leading to an executive qualification (Funkwerk Academy). Funkwerk is also extremely committed to professional training: this year, 88 trainees in different locations are being prepared for careers in the areas of business, industry or IT.

Over the last years, Funkwerk has created a large number of jobs in the course of its successful growth strategy. Between 2001 and 2008, the number of employees rose from around 400 to over 1,200. Of these, approximately 550 are employed in production and over 300 in sales and project management.

In order to maintain Funkwerk’s leading technological position, some 300 staff are employed in research and development departments at the company's various locations.
